Adversity to Triumph for mother of 3 who completes her Pharmacy degree Summa Cum Laude

Growing up in a rural community, I understood the need for education and counselling on proper medication usage and to prevent adverse drug reactions, drug interactions and relapse of diseases - this was my primary motivation to study Pharmacy. My aspiration to work in rural areas stemmed from a desire to be a friend, guide, and advocate for patients' well-being. I aim to bridge the gap between healthcare institutions and rural communities, ensuring accessibility, promoting a healthier lifestyle, and encouraging people to prevent diseases rather than attempting to cure them. I hope my journey will be an inspiration to many, especially young people.
